I'm still blown away by the standard "HTML File System Access Api"s
It makes file editing possible on the local hard-disk straight from the browser
No node.js or any other server necessary
See https://lynkfs.com/Heros/os2.html
The text-editor in this link ("To Edit") launches Google's demo html file editor
Works flawlessly in at least both Win/Chrome and MacOS/Safari
Even gives me access to ftp-servers (!)
The to-do app btw is generated by ChatGPT-4o
Just 3 iterations, some 40 minutes of prompting and no manual coding adjustments
Vanilla js, html, css
Impressive
The intro itself is just a little doodle paying homage to the 2013 HER movie 🙂
Wow. This would be a good demo to include in QTX
There is a recent problem, demo stopped working with Chrome and Edge browsers on win11. All works fine with Chrome and Safari on MacOs
